Unfortunately, my decision to share ideas for how parents can tackle COVID-impacted learning loss appears to be all too necessary.

The Times shared a study titled, "U.S. Students' Progress Stagnated Last School Year, Study Finds".

The reality is that during the last school year students did not regain the losses they incurred during the pandemic shutdown. In fact, the recent study showed "evidence of backsliding."

Practically speaking, this report means parents may well need to work with their students themselves to help them make up any ground they've loss.
